Jewelry Knives
Having studied with Hiroko and Gene Pijanowski while working on my BFA, jewelry design seemed a logical next step. From 1986 through 1989, this is what I did. These designs are from this period. At one point, I formed an interest in creating "Damascus" steel. This is the traditional process of fusing steels of varying alloys (by forged welding) into a strong yet beautiful material. These are some examples.
