Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering departments at the University
of Kansas. |
In 1990, I began investigating the possibilities
of developing alternative fuel vehicles that would be both economical,
ecological and safe. The design received a 3rd place award in the
ASC National Design '90 Competition. |
This 3-wheel HPV was my senior thesis at the University
of Michigan. I wished to explore human-powered transport that used
rear-wheel steering as a practical alternative to the automobile. |
